I can pound this thing. I actually have the I would say I average around on a good solid hit, and my fade, well more of a controlled slice really, would take me down to or so. This club might up your shot trajectory a little bit and keep with the same loft. I can give it a real heave and miss the center by a half inch or more, and still get the fairway. I play a draw and could not deal with this club at all.

No re-shaft needed with this rocket launcher. I can honestly say I am amazed.
Cleveland HiBore XL – Previous Model Year Reviews – GolfWRX
Even a hard practicing pro like Vijay Singh had trouble with his driving once he switched over to the hibore from the launcher range. My two cents worth on this club: Though the standard XLS is supposed to have a square clubface, it feels closed. This combination provided a lot of carry, but little roll. I would like a higher ball flight and do not have access to a launch monitor. Very long and straight.
Cleveland HiBORE XLS Driver Review
At first I hated it, or thought I did. I hit this club better than any other driver I have ever tried. I can hit my three wood off the fairway, also a HiBore with X shaft.
Being in the Middle east there arent too many shops around let alone courses. A high spin player’s dream.
I was hitting off a mat into a net. Shaft is Burner Reax 4. This driver sounds like a shotgun and I love it. He hits his drive And remove other annoying “stuff” borr between posts? I think the main cause is to much backspin.
The distance you are getting now is even more than some tour pros. The hook has also disappeared from my irons so golf is fun again and my bord have plunged and my game is back to the pre-hook level of years ago.
I bought my Boore off the internet without trying it out, initially I went to the Driving Range to try it out. I bought the Hibore xl The issue, apparently, was a COR thing.
This club give me the the lowest spin and the best trajectory. Of course, I am no Vijay Singh. This is my first year really golfing just learning the game.
Conclusion Players who struggle with over-the-top swings that result in slices may find some measure of salvation in the XLS driver.
Cleveland HiBore XL Driver
As for the XLS, it has eliminated the majority of the side spin and it carries even further than my did! All I did was slow down my nigh, kept a nice smooth tempo and the ball went were I wanted. However, I was wondering if anyone experienced teeing height on this club a factor? I got the XLS Draw 9 degree with the stiff red shaft.
A dead center hit is penetrating, a mid-high hit launches high but with minimal backspin, a fabulous downwind driver! A little quicker in my tempo, and I was less accurate. Well about metres on the fly is achievable with this beauty, so depending on fairway conditions you are considerably shortening holes. On the launch monitor, both Hibore XL and Burner gave me plenty of distance, with the burner a little more by yards, but Higy prefered the look and feel of the Hibore XL more, which ultimately adds to my confidence with the driver when I line up on the first tee.
